With a career that burns bright in both military and civilian sectors, Ed has been a trailblazer in delivering reliable, secure, and innovative IT solutions to support critical national security missions.

As a retired U.S. Marine Corps Colonel, Ed forged his expertise by designing a major Marine Corps logistics system that served for over 25 years. His leadership lit the way through numerous combat operations across the globe, including his pivotal role in the return of Anbar Province to Iraq in 2008. His work in Afghanistan delivering IT capabilities further fueled his reputation as a leader in technology and operations.

Ed has continued to fan the flames of innovation at Customs and Border Protection, where he engineered the framework for Cloud computing and has driven the agency’s transition to a modern, secure, and efficient IT infrastructure. His leadership across multiple IT divisions ensures 24/7 support for CBP’s mission-critical technology, creating sparks of progress in how the agency operates at the speed of mission.
